 MY DAD LOVES THESE! Jun 30, 2009
I bought this for my dad for Father's day and he loves them! They are so easy to use, my mom enjoys using it as well. The batteries don't last too long, but it comes with three and he just grabs another when it begins to go. He has used electric and gas and said he will never go back! I would recomend these to anyone who dreads edging, blowing, or trimming.... it makes it so fast and easy and looks like a professional was hired when it is all said and done. This combo pack is the best deal!!

Tools work well, but batteries run down too quick. I know it's a tough engineering problem to keep the tools lightweight yet with sufficient power, so I don't mind it too much for what I paid. I hate using gas tools and feel there's a social responsibility with them - lawn maintenance machines are one of the leading causes of air pollution in urban areas in the U.S. But with this set, I use up the better part of two batteries just doing edging/trimming on a 1/4 acre lot, then wear out the third with the blower. If I also want to trim hedges, I have to recharge and do it on a different day.

Very good tools for the price, plenty powerful enough (which is often not the case with cordless tools)

We love this set of tools. It's so easy to pick them up and do work. No more struggles with gas/oil, starting it up, re-stringing, etc. My wife does half the weed wacking now because it's so easy! Haven't used the hedge trimmers yet, but the blower is great too and much quieter than typical gas powered ones.

The great thing about the product is that it is very light so I can easily move it around the yard without straining my arm. The edge trimmer and Hedger trimmers works great for my yard. The blower is not powerful, and only suitable to light duty work. Battery lasts about 1/2 hr with continuous use. B/c it is nickel Cad battery, I try to drain it completely before recharging it. The Charging station is very handy as it can charge 3 batteries at the same time. I have a one acre property, and 3 battery is enough for my lawn work requirement.
