String for Black & Decker Grass Hog 700 Jul 15, 2010

This is the string that is used with the Black & Decker Grass Hog 700 string trimmer. Although WalMart sells the trimmer, they do not sell the string. (Lately, WalMart has been making terrible decisions about what to stock on their shelves.) Lowe's has the string, but if they stop carrying it, I will order this item from amazon.com. A reel of string only lasts me for two complete trims of my yard (100'x165', but with lots of a large house perimeter, walks, concrete drives, and flower beds). It takes me about two hours to trim the entire yard, which explains why I've only done it four times this year.

Take your time and use care when installing the reel of string on the trimmer. Don't let go of the string so that it stays tightly wound on the reel. I had to rewind a reel, which is not impossible but must be done carefully to maintain proper alignment.

I never received this item. It was supposedly delivered by USPS on July 15th, 2008, but it never arrived. I am writing the review since I have no idea where to contact Amazon. The USPS web page does not offer a link to track lost packages.

Please Amazon, help me.
