Perfect fit! Apr 15, 2010

The replacement unit was a perfect fit AND a genuine factory part. So if you're wondering if the photo shown is genuine, it is. Simply use an open-end wrench, or 12" adjustable wrench, to hold the main nut and an allen wrench to unscrew the old unit. It even comes with a cup style washer for some other model applications which mine did not use. Also, don't panic when tightening down the new unit, it WILL make some cracking sounds as there is a bit of plastic casting flash around the threaded area that will flake off. This is normal.

It comes with the replacement head, cup washer mentioned above, and even an extra spool fully loaded with 0.080" line. That was a bonus surprise.
