The Ryobi 4-Cycle Yard Runner Plus Wheeled 18-Inch Trimmer is a powerful trimmer with wide swath -- and it rides on big, rugged wheels. You also get all the benefits of Ryobi's clever TrimmerPlus system, which allows you to snap different tool heads onto the shaft, turning the wheeled engine into an edger, cultivator, blower, even a snow thrower. The trimmer unit uses a hefty .105 premium line; most trimmers wield .080. The unit comes assembled, so all you have to do is gas it up (no mixing of oil and gas) and go. It's extremely maneuverable and great to grip, thanks to the padded, slanted handles, which are aligned at a natural grip angle instead of a horizontal bar. The variable-speed throttle adjusts at your fingertips. It's a great, hardworking machine with lots of attachment options.

Ryobi 4-cycle wheeled trimmer Apr 26, 2003

Trimmer is very good for cutting behind fences, in muddy ditches, and on uneven ground--light and easy to maneuver. It is easy to handle, and has lots of power---will cut fairly tall weeds.
The only drawback is the starting--it is harder to start than a Honda 4-cyle engine; however, once I got the routine, it starts every time.

will the person who wrote and said once you got the trick of starting, please post the trick. I've never been able to pull the cord on mine. it's REALLY difficult. Keeps us all wore out before the grass gets done. and then we don't use it. it won't start. :( Too high priced for the difficulties in it. Needs an electric start.
