Excellent trimmer line Oct 05, 2008

The tanaka green monster professional string trimmer line work excellent in all cutting conditions. This line spins straghit and not wobble compare to regular residental line trimmer its made high quality materials. May be recommend for professional gardeners but also residental can use it as well, as long your weedeater take .095inch diameter. Highly recommend works like maruyama and rotary red line like pros use.

Residential lawn man here. Works great with my Hitachi trimmer and is equally if not more durable then the string that came with it. Also works great edging and doest get cut when trimming around sharper objects ( brick corners ). Will buy again.

The Tanaka Greem Monster was designed so you wouldn't have to continually leave little strips of plastic all around your yard. When I purchased the Tanaka trimmer (from Amazon.com), earlier this year, I would have never guessed that the original string that came with the unit would last as long as it did. Well, it finally ran out and I had to re-string with the green monster line I also purchased from Amazonon. It's the same quality, just tough line ... correction, very tough line!

When I first went to the store to get replacement pre-cut lengths for my weed wacker, they had to get me a chair when I saw the price. Something like $6 for 20 x 9" lengths! OK, so that's $6 for 15 feet and this reel is $12 for 285 feet. Rounding the numbers, pre-cut £12 for 30 feet, reel $12 for 300 feet. So the pre cuts are ten times the price simply because they are cut? If you have wire cutters then get this reel and cut the lengths yourself. If you don't have wire cutters then buy this reel and buy a pair of cutters with the money you are saving. As far as the quality is concerned it fits the attachment just fine and they are just as good as the lengths that Ryobi supplied with the wacker.

Works great with Toro electric trimmer May 26, 2011

No more stopping every few minutes for more line. Plus, it will last for longer than a dozen of those pre-cut spools. This was easy to put into my empty spool which I was worried about since this was several times thicker than the overpriced junk Toro sells.
