All I can say is that I wish I had purchased the Weed Eater HT2400 24-Inch years ago. The funny thing is, this was given to me as a present when I couldn't decide on which brand to get when my old one went up. It's exactly what I've been looking for. It is powerful, yet quite. The pull through cord hookup is a nice feature. The blades are super sharp and seem to cut through the thickest of hedge branches. The only thing I do not like so much is the safety switch, but it's there for a reason - I guess I'll get use to it eventually!
