trying to save a few cents by replacing the heavy duty metal handle with a cheesy plastic one creates a horrible excuse of an xacto knife. the metal at the back is the "screw" tightener, but after 12 hours or so of use, the tension is lost and there is absolutely NO tension on the plastic, just the tiny piece of metal running inside of the plastic tube. this causes the tube to spin like an axel, making this more of a swivel tip xacto than a stationary blade.
NOT SATISFIED.

When I saw this at Michaels and the name was Gripster I thought the handle was rubberized so I bought it. It turns out it's a cheap plastic tube with no special grip and obviously nothing even close to the quality of the all metal handles. Big disappointment. Go for the real version instead.
